Dry/Aging Skin

This condition is a result often from nutritional deficiencies and/or stress. Using products with surfactants and irritating ingredients that worsen the condition over time.

Oily

This skin condition usually is accompanied with enlarged pores and often the result of daily degreasing and using agents that over-dry by stripping the lipid barrier, which in turn stimulates more sebum as a protective response. Acne

One of the most difficult skin conditions to manage because we often do not know the source within our bodies. It is caused primarily by internal toxicity and/or a hormonal imbalance. Hypersensitive Skin

Rosacea

A growing skin problem that is often controlled better without the use of prescription regimens. Photodamage

The first step in treating sun-damaged skin is using complete sun blocks. The next step is the treatment of hyperpigmentation(brown spots). Photodamage is omnipresent and often difficult to make changes in. The reason is that scarred and thinned dermis often has significant damage before visible signs appear. Reducing inflammation so that we can slow ongoing damage while actively remodeling the damage is an important goal in restoring a healthy dermis. Strong antioxidants also help to prevent sun damage. Hyperpigmentation/Melasma

Brown Spots are often the outcome of trauma to the skin. The leading cause is overexposure to the sun. Skin produces natural pigment to protect itself, but with repeated exposure, individual areas overreact by creating brown spots. this requires two steps: Exfoliation and Suppression of pigment producing cells. Menopausal/Hormonal 

The skin begins to lose collagen and density after menopause as the fibroblast's activity is diminished. It also produces less oil and requires stronger moisturizers.
